Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. to Donate $50K to TERI College Access

V.P.’s Huntington and Gabellieri to present check at Boston Public Library

Boston, MA. – Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. has announced a $50,000 donation to TERI, The Education Resources Institute, Inc., to support the activities of TERI College Access and its satellite college access centers. Dunkin’ Brands Vice Presidents Robert Huntington and Steve Gabellieri will present the check to TERI at 11 a.m. on February 10, 2005 at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square, Boston. Dunkin’ Brands, Inc. owns Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin-Robbins and Togo’s and is headquartered in Canton, MA.

TERI College Access is a nonprofit organization that helps young people and adults plan and pay for college. TERI College Access, located at the Boston Public Library, Copley Square, has six satellite centers across Boston, Chelsea and in Brockton. The Center also conducts a wide range of outreach activities throughout Greater Boston at community organizations, career centers, businesses and schools.

“We are especially pleased to be supporting TERI’s college access mission, which takes the message of the importance of higher education to students where they live and study,” said Huntington. “As a corporate citizen, we take seriously our responsibility to try to make a positive contribution to society. Supporting underserved students and adult learners in their efforts to improve themselves through education helps them and helps society. Dunkin’ Brands is honored to help them do this.”

In accepting the donation, TERI President Willis J. Hulings III said, ”Since its founding two decades ago, TERI has counseled over two million students and adult learners about different types of colleges and degree programs and helped them navigate the selection and financial aid process. Dunkin’ Brands is providing a great boost for TERI’s mission, and, with this generous donation, we’ll be able to help even more.”
