TERI ADDS TWO EXPERTS TO ITS LOAN GUARANTEE BUSINESS
Michael Gambee and Dana Wiklund join growing organization

TERI today announced two financing experts have joined TERI’s guarantee business. Michael Gambee has been named Director of Loan Programs and Dana Wiklund has been named Chief Risk Officer, both reporting to William G. Davidson, Jr., TERI Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
As Director of Loan Programs, Mr. Gambee will be responsible for managing new and existing loan program offerings, developing underwriting guidelines, and evaluating loan portfolio performance. Mr. Gambee comes to TERI with 17 years of experience as an education finance professional. From 2001 to 2007, he was employed by Aurora Consulting as CFO & Treasurer, working as a consultant to loan participants in the areas of product development, risk assessment, and financial management. Through Aurora, Mike served as TERI's Chief Financial Officer from 2002 - 2005. His prior experience also includes 15 years at Nellie Mae Corporation. Mike holds a BS from St. Lawrence University and an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from the State University of New York.
In his role as Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Wiklund will be responsible for planning and directing portfolio management, business analysis, risk modeling, loan loss reserve appropriateness and loss prevention programs. For the last nine years, Dana has worked at Equifax where most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Predictive Services. Prior positions include Assistant Vice President of Consumer Risk Management at Fleet Financial Group, Credit Risk Manager of the Consumer Lending Group at Bank of Boston, Regional Database Manager at Equifax, and Client Service Representative at State Street Bank and Trust. Dana has a BS in Finance/Economics from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and a Certificate of Special Studies in Administration and Management from Harvard University.

TERI’s loan guarantee programs help students close the gap between education costs and their other resources such as financial aid, savings and family support. TERI is the oldest and largest guarantor of private (non-government) student loans with more than $12 billion in outstanding guarantees. TERI brings together lenders, schools, students and families to make available low-cost, high quality financing for postsecondary education.
